Michael V. Staton, Licensed Funeral Director/
Michael V. Staton, Licensed Funeral Director/Co-owner, is a second generation funeral director who grew up in funeral service assisting his father with funerals at a young age. He graduated from Butler University in 1991 and from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 1992. Mike served his apprenticeship at Hummel Funeral Homes in Akron, Ohio and was licensed in Ohio in 1993. He obtained his Indiana Funeral Directors license in 1995. In addition to his funeral service work, Mike serves as an officer in several local organizations. He is Past President and Past Secretary of the Fortville Lions Club, Past President and Past Treasurer of the Fortville Optimist Club, Past Chairman and current Secretary/Treasurer of the Fortville Christian Laymen Organization. He is also a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church and enjoys boating.
Blynn E. Vancil, Licensed Funeral Director/
Blynn E. Vancil, Licensed Funeral Director/Co-owner is a lifelong Hoosier who graduated from Hamilton Southeastern High School in 1989 and received her bachelorís degree in Child Development & Family Studies from Purdue University in 1993. She worked for several years as a legislative liaison for the Indiana Civil Rights Commission and for an Indianapolis-based software development company before attending the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science and becoming a licensed funeral director. Understanding diverse perspectives, attention to detail, and consensus-building skills help Blynn counsel families through their time of loss while easing the stress of planning a funeral service. Blynn enjoys the outdoors, racquetball and spending time with her three young nephews.
Steve Stanley is a lifelong resident of Fortville, who began his career with Seals Funeral Home & Ambulance Service in 1992. Steve is also a career lieutenant firefighter/paramedic with the Lawrence Township Fire Department in Indianapolis. Previously, he served as a volunteer with the Fortville Fire Department. Steve is a member of the Fortville Christian Church, the Fortville Optimist Club, Indianapolis Metropolitan Firefighters Union Local 416, and the Indy Metro FOOLS. Steve lives in Fortville with his wife, De Anna, and their three children and enjoys staying involved in their sports activities.
