Kari, Katie, Nina, family and friends, I am so very sorry for your loss. Gary was like a brother to me and I just can't believe he is gone. He will always be in my heart as I'm sure he will in all those whose lives he touched. He was a special man and always talked about his girls and his love for them. There is a void left in my heart that can never be filled in losing him, but I know he is with God and has found peace that he searched for. I love you, Gary, and will miss you, but will see you again some day and we will never know sorrow again.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Gary's family. I grew up knowing Gary...Gary's sister Nina was my bestfriend all thru school, and still is. Gary was an incredible cook, host and loved his girls more than anything. He will be missed!!!

I would like to offer my condolences to Gary's family. Gary and I were friends in Jr. High and High School. The last time I saw him was 15 years ago when he attended the 20th class reunion at Cloverdale. Gary was a true friend who had the incredible ability to actually "listen" and cared deeply about his family. I met all his family his mom, dad, and- Nina..I remember you and George! And Nancy...Watkins I believe was her last name from Martinsville. Gary and I had some good times together. It is never easy to see that someone that meant so much to you at one time is now gone. My heart goes out to his family, and I mourn for him as well.

Just wanted to tell you again how sorry we are about your Dad. He was a very special person and we loved him. I thought of him often and you girls, too, of course. I know he is resting in the hands of our Lord. He will always be in our hearts and memories. He was always so proud of you and loved you very much. Take comfort in that.

From:  Penny Emerson-Morrisey, Chris Meek, & Doni    Dear Kati- I'm so sorry for the loss of your Dad. I know you loved him very much. I wanted to let you know I was thinking of you. Your Dad was a very sweet, caring man who was so proud of you & Kari. I remember everytime I would go to CVS when he worked there and he had pictures of the 2 of you in the displays. I know Christopher cared alot for him. I hope you are doing well. With all my prayers, Love, Penny

My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time. I remember Gary, Nina and Geroge fondly from Pike High School. I have great memories from singing with Gary in Hi Tones and going to the prom. My thoughts are with you all. Donna Blackwell Long

Growing up with Gary in chruch left an indelible impression on me;one who was caring, full of life, and his laughter could turn a bad day into a good one. I was fortunate enough to finally, after a number of years, see Gary once again two months ago and those enduring attributes had not changed. I will miss him but those sustanining memories will be with me always. I wish the family the best during this difficult time.

I only knew Gary for a short time from working with him at Huck's in Fortville. In that short time I learned that he was a very proud and loving father to his two daughters. I remember him bringing pictures of them into work and he was beaming with pride. I also know how it is to loose someone so special but to his daughters Kari and Katie, know that you were his life and he Did love you very much. I am so sorry for your loss, but remember he is alway's with you in your heart.
