Larry Richard Hadley, beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, December 3, 2017.  He died peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones and friends.  Larry was a man of strong faith and character.  His love of God never wavered even during his toughest times in life.  Larry was born April 20, 1946 to Albert and Leona (Wood) Hadley at the old St. Vincent Hospital.  He lived most of his life in Indiana except for seven years in Oklahoma. 

   Larry's work life began early as a "Paperboy" for the Indianapolis News for which he won numerous Blue-Ribbon Awards for service.  He graduated from Pike High School in 1965 and earned a certificate of Animal Husbandry from Purdue University.  Larry later attended Mid-America Bible College in Oklahoma City.  He was an ordained minister with the Anderson Church of God.  In his earlier years, Larry worked for Connor Prairie Farms in Noblesville.  He worked at the former Western Electric Plant in the Gold Room.  Larry later transferred to Oklahoma City when the plant in Indianapolis closed.  He retired from AT&T in 1990.  He worked in the ministry beginning in the 1970's having served in many locations and positions.

   Larry is survived by his wife of 50 years, Caroline (Fox) Hadley, son Richard (Tawnya) Hadley, daughter Suzanne (Paul) Hadley-Smith, five grandchildren: Christian Hadley, Caitlin (Ryan) Hadley-Morris, John Hadley, Whitney (Nick) Smith-Nelson and Emma Smith; one great-granddaughter; sister: Beverly Sinnett and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

   Friends may call on Thursday, December 7, 2017 from 4 to 8 pm at New Life Christian Fellowship 1574 IN-234, Fortville, IN 46040.  A celebration of Larry's life will be held on Friday, December 8, 2017 at 11:00 am at the church.  Burial will take place at Crownland Cemetery, Noblesville, IN following the services.  Memorial contributions may be made to New Life Christian Fellowship 1574 IN-234, Fortville, IN 46040.
