Leo Dowell Obituary

Leo F. Dowell, 79, of Ingalls passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. He was born May 13, 1938 in Fontanet, IN to the late Robert A. and Jenie F. Dowell. Leo retired as a truck driver from A & R Trucking. After his retirement, Leo began a second career as a guard at the Pendleton Reformatory. He was a devoted loving & husband, father and best friend. Leo was known as a “character” and “cut-up” who enjoyed a good beer.

Leo is survived by son JP Dowell of Ingalls and a sister Vera. He was preceded in death by his wife Jean, daughter Debbie Arend, a sisterand a brother Francis.
