Steven R. Klepfer

Steven R. Klepfer, 70, of Indianapolis, passed away Monday, February 5, 2018 at Methodist Hospital.  He was born February 25, 1947 in Indianapolis to Ralph and Clarice (Simpson) Klepfer.  Steve was a member of IBEW Local 481 and had just recently received his 50-year pin.  He retired from Miller-Eads in 2004.  Steve was a member of the F & AM Oakland Lodge #140, a Past Master, a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Scottish Rite.  He was also affiliated with the Order of the Eastern Star.  Steve enjoyed traveling, cruising the seas with his beloved, listening to good music, cooking and spending quality time with friends and family. 

Steve is survived by wife Robin A. (Gilmore) Klepfer, whom he married April 23, 2004; children: Charles and Sarah Klepfer; grandchildren: Elizabeth and Michelle Norris; brother Gary (Ranny) Klepfer, 5 nieces and 3 nephews.  He was preceded in death by his first wife Shelley Klepfer, daughter Kimberly Klepfer and his parents.

Friends may call on Friday, February 9, 2018 from 4 to 8 pm at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. Eastern Star and Masonic Services will be followed by a celebration of Steve’s life on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 11:00 am at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Old Oaklandon Cemetery, Indianapolis.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Indiana Masonic Home 690 S.
