Arder L. Fugett

Arder L. Fugett, 97, of Fortville, died August 27, 2009 in New Castle. He was born on May 7, 1912 in Felicity, Ohio to the late Willie B. and Pearly Mae (Smith) Fugett. He worked as a machinist for Western Electric for almost 30 years and enjoyed bass fishing. He is survived by daughter Carolyn Connor of New Castle; daughter Rita (Jim) Andis of Economy; sister Alma Jones of WA; granddaughter Stacy (Steve) Worsham of Kennard; grandson James Jr. (Tammy) Andis of Economy; granddaughter Brenda (Dan) Milbourn of Connersville; and great-grandchildren: Chris Andis, Joshua Andis, Shawn Kelley, Trevor Andis, Jared Andis, Aaron Milbourn, Amanda Milbourn and Jackson Worsham. He was preceded in death by his wife Bessie Hiday, whom he married in Anderson in 1934; son Douglas Fugett; brother James Roscoe Fugett; brother Warren Paul Fugett; brother David Fugett and sister Carmen Fugett.

Funeral Information

Friends may call on Monday, August 31, 2009 from noon until the funeral service begins at 1 pm. Burial will follow at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
