Joseph F. Herren

Joseph F. Herren, 65, of Indianapolis, passed away Monday, March 2, 2009 at Community Hospital East in Indianapolis. He was born July 25, 1943 in Valparaiso, IN to John R. and Helen R. “Perk” (Adams) Herren, and a 1965 graduate of Ball State University. Joe was a self-employed Logistics Manager, retiring earlier this year. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and served as a member of the Trustees Ministries there. He was also a member of the Royal Order of the Moose, trained drivers for the Job Corp. in NJ, and enjoyed collecting model trucks. Joe is survived by his wife, Sharon (Hoback), whom he married in 1964 in Valparaiso; daughter, Wendy (Andrew) Wilson of McCordsville; son, Richard of Las Vegas, NV; and grandchildren, Chris and Willow Wilson. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Information
Friends may call on Saturday, March 7, 2009 from 1 to 3 pm at Calvary Baptist Church, 3255 N. German Church Rd., Indianapolis. A memorial celebration of Joe’s life will follow at 3 pm at the church.
