Margaret R. “Pat” Hunt, 86, of Fortville, passed away January 15, 2009, at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield. She was born August 5, 1922, in Lapel, Indiana to the late John Patrick and Rilda (Elkins) Patrick. Pat worked at the Fortville Ice Cream Store and then worked at the Fortville Pharmacy for 20 years before retiring. She was a member of the Fortville Christian Church and enjoyed cross-stitching, cooking and baking. She is survived by daughters, Judy (Aron) Chapman of Greenfield; Jill Hunt (Doug Klesner) of Indianapolis; Jackie (Garrid – dec.) Shultz of Fortville; and son, Jim Hunt of Fortville; brothers, Jim (Mollybelle) Patrick, Fortville; John Patrick of Tucson, AZ; 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sisters Willadean Brown, Virginia Witt, Imogene Kellam, and Barb Brinker and son-in-law Garrid Shultz. Funeral InformationFriends may call on Sunday, January 18, 2009, from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Seals Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Fortville. A celebration of Pat’s life will be held Monday January 19, 2009 at 1:00 pm also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
