Fred H. Kingery

Frederick H. Kingery, 91, of Ingalls, passed away Thursday June 4, 2009 at Regency Place of Greenfield. He was born on September 16, 1917 in Hancock County, Indiana to the late Frederick and Gertrude (Webber) Kingery. Fred retired from Brookside Corporation in 1982 after 13 years of service and had also worked construction. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII, a purple heart recipient and a life-member of VFW Post 6904. He is survived by niece Dixie (Jim) Weir of Ingalls; special friend and caregiver Chris Holland; and numerous other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by wives, Esther (Hedrick) (Dowden) Kingery in 1978 and Fern (Hedrick) Kingery in 2007; brothers, Emerson, Paul, Irvin, Cecil and Lewis; sisters: Almeda Whiteside, Bertha Brandom, Mearul Davis, Ruth Revis and Effie Sigmond.

Funeral Information

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2009 at 2:30 pm at Mendon Cemetery, Pendleton where military graveside rites will be conducted by the Fortville American Legion Post 391 and Fortville VFW Post 6904. Seals Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Fortville is handling the arrangements.
