Charles L. Skinner

Charles L. Skinner, 79, of Fortville, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2009. He was born December 20, 1929 in Anderson to the late John and Eva Skinner. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and was employed for over 40 years as a safety engineer at both Western Electric in Indianapolis and Delco Remy in Anderson, retiring in 1985. Mr. Skinner was also an avid fisherman, sportsman, athlete and coach. He is survived by his wife, Jane (Fausset) Skinner of Fortville; daughter, Elizabeth A. (Jim) Spencer of Greencastle; daughter, Barbara J. Skinner of Indianapolis; and grandchildren, Haleigh, Hannah and Hank Spencer.

Funeral Information

Friends may call on Tuesday, April 7, 2009 from 4 to 8 pm at Seals Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fortville. The funeral service will take place Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at 11 am at the funeral home. Mark Miller, senior minister of Greencastle Christian Church, will officiate. Burial will follow at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
