A. Wayne Dotson, born January 27, 1950 was greeted into Heaven on October 27, 2011 by his son Robert T., parents, Virgil and Edith, and his in-laws Bill, Hazel and Rose Young. Wayne was married on January 27, 1979 to his wife of 32 years, N. Jane (Young) Dotson, at the Fortville Christian Church. He was employed by the Brookside Corporation, Industrial Dielectrics, and Precision Machine. Wayne was a University of Kentucky Wildcat fan. He is survived by his wife; brothers, Wilby (Jeannie) Dotson of McCordsville, Gene Dotson of Fortville, George (Dianah) Dotson of Fortville, and Delbert (Chris) Dotson of Westfield; sister, Inez (Doug) Haygood of Ingalls; brother in-law Robert (Linda) Young of Lebanon; nephews, Michael, Nathan, Daniel and Adam Dotson, and Bob and Jim Young; nieces Lisa and Joely Gause, Trina and Kassie Haygood, Allison and Elizabeth Dotson, Angie Christian and Susie Canner; best friends Joe Brown and Darrell Forth and their families; and special cousins the Blantons, the Blevins, the Risners, the Ledingtons, the Jones' and the Pace's.

Funeral Information

Friends may call from 4-8 pm on Monday October 31, 2011 at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. Funeral services will be held at 12 pm on Tuesday November 1, 2011 at the funeral home with Rev. Michael Dotson officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
