Paul H. Durack, 90 years, of Fortville, passed away December 12, 2008. He was born October 8, 1918 in Fortville to Lawrence T. & Olive (Griffey) Durack. He graduated from the old Fortville High School in 1936 and served in the U.S. Army Air Corps. during WW II. Paul was the Model Shop Foreman at Delco-Remy, retiring in 1975 after 33 years of service. He was a member of Fortville Christian Church and the Fortville American Legion Post 391. Paul is survived by his wife Eunice (McConnell) Durack of Fortville, whom he married on July 12, 1946 in the parsonage of the old Fortville Christian Church; and sons: Donald Lee (Katherine) of Cincinnati, OH; Steve W. (Donna) of Fortville; and Gary Paul (Valerie) of Urbana, IL; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and niece, Charlotte Sears. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother and sister-in-law, LeRoy and Dora Durack.
