Carol Vennone Hennis, 68, of Ingalls, passed away peacefully Saturday, December 5, 2009 at her home. She was born February 18, 1941 to Julian and Edith (Smith) Burton. She was retired from Sycamore Services where she worked as an Activity Director. Carol enjoyed crafts and sewing handmade clothes. She is survived by her husband Roma Hennis whom she married on July 14, 1989 in Kokomo; sons: Samuel G. Honeycutt of Indianapolis and Jeff Honeycutt of Spencer; grandsons: Chad Albert of Ingalls and Curtis Albert of TX; great-granddaughter Heaven Honeycutt of Ft. Wayne; great-grandson Dylan Honeycutt of FL; sisters: Darlene (Jerry) Yarnell of Greencastle, Sandy (Dennis) Glover of FL, and Madonna Thompson of Lebanon; brothers: J.W. Burton of KY, Ross Burton of Indianapolis; brother-in-law Robert Hennis of Pendleton; very special daughter-in-law Jackie (Dennis) McNamara of Cicero; special friends: Brenda Hart of Shirley, and Barbara (Ray) Standifer of Rose Hill, VA; and special goddaughter Deanna (Eugene) Graham of Rose Hill, VA. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson Brian Honeycutt; and beloved dog Rambeau. Funeral InformationFriends may call on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 from 5 to 8 pm at Seals Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fortville. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 10, 2009 at 11:30 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
