Marcia A. Boerner, 64, of Martinsville passed away November 9, 2011 peacefully at her home surrounded by her family. She was born March 3, 1947 in Indianapolis to Roy Lee and June B. (Goodrum) Allen, who survive. Marcia graduated from Lawrence Central High School, and had worked as an Activities Director for the Masonic Home, Morgantown Healthcare, and Westminster Village North. She had also previously worked at the former Heche’s Dime Store in Fortville. She married Joseph Rex Boerner on December 31, 1986, and he survives. She is also survived by her sons Jeff Reynolds, and Chris Reynolds, all of Pendleton; step-sons, Mike Reynolds of Nashville, TN, Rick (Deanna) Reynolds-Taylor of Greenwood, and Michael (Kari) Boerner of Whiteland; daughter, Angela Reynolds of Pendleton; step-daughters, Star (Rick) Reynolds of Bedford, Cindy Reynolds of Spencer, Deanna Smith of Pendleton and Jodi (James D.) Bullock of Morgantown; one brother, Joseph (Jo Ann) Allen of South Carolina; 24 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Ron Reynolds and a daughter, Julia Reynolds.
Funeral Information
Friends may call on Sunday, November 13, 2011 from 2 to 6 pm at Seals Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Fortville. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 14, 2011 at 11 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
