James A. Doud

James A. Doud, 73, of McCordsville, passed away Monday, September 8, 2008 at Community Hospital East. He was born September 14, 1934 in Bono, AR to the late Raymond and Hazel (Huston) Doud. He was a member of the former McCordsville F&AM Lodge #501, past worthy patron of the former McCordsville Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #156, a member of the Woodbury Community Church, and a US Army veteran. Jim worked at Roberts Dairy, Borden’s Dairy and was past president of the Associated Milk Producers Inc. was retired from Mosley Laboratory in 1996. Following his retirement he worked as a Special Needs Aide for Mt. Vernon Community School Corp. He is survived by wife Dana (Smith) Doud, children: Andrea Sue (Eric) Sparks of McCordsville; Karen Elaine Doud of High Point, NC; Stephen Ray (Sherri) Doud of Pendleton; Erika Lynn (Shane) Fithian of Fortville; six grandchildren; brother Herbert (Sue) Doud of Eastnollee, GA.

Funeral Information

A celebration of Jim’s life will be held on Sat., Sept. 13, 2008 at 11 am at Seals Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fortville. Burial will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery, Indianapolis. Friends may call on Friday, Sept. 12 from 3 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
