Doris J. Lentz

Doris J. Lentz, 84, passed away August 24, 2010 at Regency Place of Greenfield. She was born October 18, 1925 in Indianapolis to the late William E. and Bessie (Teets) Tripp. Doris retired from her job as a janitor for Mt. Vernon Schools in 1987. She was a life member of the VFW #6904 Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the American Legion Post 391 Auxiliary. Mrs. Lentz is survived by her children: Robert L. (Mary) Chastain of Fortville; Annitta Macheda; and Donna (Dink) Davis of FL; sister Evelyn E. Kremiller of Indianapolis; brother William E. (Patricia) Tripp of Indianapolis; 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Francis J. Lentz; daughter Peggy L. Hopper; and great-grandchildren Brandon and Claire.
Funeral Information
Friends may call on Saturday, August 28, 2010 from 10 am to 1 pm at Seals Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fortville, with funeral services beginning there at 1 pm. Burial will follow at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
