Delia E. "Dee" (Steffey) Kraus

Delia E. “Dee” Kraus, 72, of Ingalls, passed away Monday, July 20, 2009 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. She was born March 1, 1937 in Bunker Hill to J.W. Darrald and Roberta (Holcomb) Steffey. Dee is survived by husband Leonard J. Kraus whom she married Oct 19, 1957 in Peru; children: Laura (Steve) Ransdell of Greenwood; Loretta (Don) Plew of Fairland; Leonard J. (Joy) Kraus II of Huntingtion, WVa.; Philip (Anne) Kraus of Pensacola, FL; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters: Rosie (Dennie) Schofield of Peru; Relna (Ed) Kaiser of Peru; Rita Tanner of Wichita Falls, TX, and brother Darrald (Reggie) Steffey of Bunker Hill. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Dorothy Green and Dolly Spangler.

Funeral Information

Friends may call on Thursday, July 23, 2009 from 2 to 7:30 pm at Seals Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fortville with funeral services to begin at 7:30 pm. Cremation will follow. Dee's family will receive friends at the family home following the services at the funeral home.
