Gregory Owen Chesney, 48, of McCordsville, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2009 in Indianapolis. He was born March 14, 1961 in Anderson to Laymon and Connie (Owens) Chesney. Greg was employed as an x-ray technician at the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center for 25 years. He was a member of ABATE, Harley Owner’s Group Chapter 1 and the Son’s of the American Legion Post 391. He is survived by wife Bridget (Kelly) Chesney whom he married September 12, 1987, daughter Alyson Chesney; son Benjamin Chesney all of McCordsville; father Laymon (Renita) Chesney of Warsaw, IN; brother Scott (Julie) Chesney of St. Petersburg, FL; grandparents Kenneth & Iona Chesney of Warsaw, pets Honey Muffin, Tiger and the fish. He was preceded in death by son Bodean Chesney, mother Connie Chesney and grandparents Donald and Maxine Owens.

Funeral Information

Friends may call on Wednesday, April 8, 2009 from 4 to 8 pm at Seals Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fortville. Private funeral services will be held. Burial will take place at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
