Mary L. (Rhynearson) Cowan

Mary L. (Rhynearson) Cowan, 89, passed away August 31, 2010 at Morristown Manor. She was born August 6, 1921 in Anderson to the late Paul and Marie (Bauer) Rhynearson. Mary was a homemaker and a life member of both the VFW #6904 Ladies Auxiliary and the American Legion Post 391. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Wilkinson Brotherhood & Sisterhood. Mrs. Cowan is survived by her children: Robert (Lilly) Cowan of Encinitas, CA; David (Suzanne) Cowan of Greeley, CO; Tammy (Donnie) Bowling of Ingalls; and Donna Jones of Fishers; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald C. Cowan in 2000; brother Charles Rhynearson; and sister Thelma Harsh.
Funeral Information
Friends may call on Friday, September 3, 2010 from 10 am to 2 pm at Seals Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fortville, with funeral services beginning there at 2 pm. Burial will follow at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
