Robert J. Green

Robert J. Green, 79, of Ingalls, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away Monday, January 5, 2009 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born October 19, 1929 in Noblesville, IN to Earl and Jeannie (Ballard) Green. Robert had been an elevator operator at National Starch and Chemical in Indianapolis retiring in 1994 after 22 years service. He was a member of the American Legion. Robert is survived by sons: Ed (Candy) Stergar of Southport, David Lee Green of Pendleton; Robert E. (Yvonne) Green of Pendleton and Tim (Debbie) Green of Ingalls; 4 sisters; 9 grandchildren and 18 ½ great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret J. (Covey) Green, his parents and brother Donald Green.

Funeral Information

Friends may call on Thursday, January 8, 2009 from 4 to 7:30 pm at Seals Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fortville. A celebration of Robert’s life will begin at 7:30 pm Thursday evening officiated by Pastor Robert E. Green and Pastor Keith Wooden. Burial will take place on Friday, January 9, 2009 at 11:00 am at Lincoln Memory Gardens, Whitestown, IN.
