Donna J. (Garner) Scearce, 48, of Fortville, passed away September 2, 2010 at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield. She was born May 3, 1962 in Greenfield. She graduated from Mt. Vernon High School and worked as a lead teacher at Children’s World Learning Center. She made the National Dean’s List and was a member of the National Association of Business Women. Mrs. Scearce was also a member of the New Life Christian Fellowship Church and an aspiring author of children’s books. She is survived by her husband Robert whom she married on June 1, 1991; sons: Jake J. Garner of FL; Erik Justin Scearce and Adam Christopher Scearce, both of Fortville; parents Kenneth and Linda (Brown) Garner of FL; and brothers: Gary (Sherry) Garner of Ingalls; Terry (Brenda) Garner of FL; and Jamey Garner of Fortville . She was preceded in death by her brother Ray Garner.

Funeral Information

A memorial service will be held at New Life Christian Fellowship Church, 1574 W State Road 234, Fortville, on Friday, September 10, 2010 at 10 am.
