Doris H. Cauldwell Doris H. (Griffey) Cauldwell,
89, of Fortville, passed away November 7, 2008 at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis. She was born in Oaklandon on September 16, 1919 to the late Jess and Nora Mae (Teeters) Griffey. Doris was a homemaker but had worked at Guide Lamp during World War II and also was the bookkeeper for W.F. Cauldwell Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning Co. She was a member of the Cyntheanne Christian Church, past president of its ladies aid society. She was an avid reader, enjoyed her greenhouse and loved animals. She is survived by son Richard A. “Dick” Cauldwell of Fortville and several nieces and nephews. Doris was preceded in death by her husband Wilford “Bud” Cauldwell in 1996.
Funeral Information
A Celebration of Doris’s life will be held on Monday, November 10, 2008 at 4:30 pm at the Cyntheanne Christian Church, Fishers, IN. Friends may call on Monday from 1 to 4:00 pm at the church. Burial will take place on Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at 11:00 am at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
