Tammie L. Charlton 45, of Fortville, passed away Friday, July 6, 2010. She was born July 25, 1964 in Greenfield to Orville and Iona (Bell) Brown and graduated from Mt. Vernon High School. She worked as a forklift operator for Pepsi/Quaker Oats. She is survived by sons Zachary and Alan Charlton of Fortville; mother Iona (Bell) Brown of Fortville; sisters Becky (Gary) Moore of Fortville and Cathy Wertenberger of Greenfield; brothers-in-law Merl Fields, Jr. of Fortville and Tim Sigler of Spencer; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father “Bud” Brown; and sisters Pam Fields and Patricia Sigler.
