Annabelle (Miller) Smith

Annabelle Smith, 96, of Fortville, passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at St. Vincent Regional Hospital in Anderson.  She was born November 8, 1921 in Summitville, IN and graduated from Anderson High School in 1940. Ann was a life member of Beta Sigma Phi, a member of Pendleton Emanuel Methodist Church and had been the treasurer for the Fortville Brotherhood and Sisterhood.  She enjoyed puzzles, crossword and word search.  Ann retired as the owner of the Mainview Beauty Shop and had worked for 12 years at The Candlemaker in Fortville after her retirement. 

Ann is survived by step-children Su Ann (Dayton) Highers and Danny C. (Carolyn)Smith; 9 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband Charles W. Smith, her father Clyde Miller, her mother Elsie (Dailey) Smith, step-father Marion B. Smith, sister Wilma Nyboer and step-son David F. Smith.

Friends may call on Sunday, October 7, 2018 from 3:00 to 6:00 pm at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 8, 2018 at 10:00 am at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson.  Online condolences may be shared at www.sealsfuneralhome.com.
