Barbara Kuta-Durnal

Barbara C. Kuta-Durnal, 78, of Noblesville, passed away Friday, April 26, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family.  She was born March 5, 1941 in LaPorte, IN to late William and Frances (Stark) Kuta.  Barb graduated from Ivy Tech with a degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management and from Butler University with a degree in Business. 

Barb was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in LaPorte, had attended Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Noblesville and St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Fishers.  She retired from Kohl’s after 15 years’ service.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Barb was accomplished in ceramics and created many family heirlooms over the years.  She was also very dedicated to sending cards to family members on important dates in their lives such as birthdays and anniversaries. 

Barb is survived by children: Lisa (Mark) Tuszynski of Mill Creek, IN; Leon Durnal of Noblesville; David (Kasey) Durnal of Oak Ridge, NJ and Lora (Michael) Durnal Roberts of Parker, CO; grandchildren: Nathan (Ashley) Tuszynski, Ryan Tuszynski, Alicia (Devin) Thomas, Chesala Durnal, Dylan Durnal, David J. Durnal, Jordan Durnal, Emily Roberts and Sydney Roberts; great-grandchildren: Maelee, Daxon, Willow and Hunter; siblings: David (Jane) Kuta, Janet (Lyle) Morrow and Craig (Debbie) Kuta. 

Per her wish’s cremation has taken place.  A celebration of Barb’s life will be held by her family later this summer in LaPorte, Indiana.  Memorial contributions in Barb’s name may be made to Come To Me Food Pantry 9691 E. 116th Street Fishers, IN 46037.  Services have been entrusted to Seals Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fortville.  Online condolences may be shared at www.sealsfuneralhome.com.
