Donald R. Hawkins

Donald R. Hawkins, 73, of Fortville, passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2017 in Greenfield. He was born May 18, 1944 in Patricksburg, IN to Francis and Helen (Callahan) Hawkins. Don retired as the owner of Diamond Building Services. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Viet Nam War. Don was a member of the American Legion and enjoyed riding motorcycles.

He is survived by wife Rhonda J. (McFarland) Hawkins of Fortville and son Brian Hawkins of Greenfield; sisters: Shirley Harris and Virginia Allen both of Indianapolis. Don was preceded in death by his parents, brother Ed Hawkins and sisters Frances Harmen and Lyles Hawkins.

Per his wishes cremation has taken place.
