She loved her goats. At one time she had one goat that was named Valentine, she had her inside her home, until 4 months old. It was a blind goat and she had to bottle feed it. She worked at Humana Hospital in Huntsville, Al and Bradford Health Services and Walmart in Athens, AL. She returned to Indiana (Ingalls) after her husband’s death and was able to reconnect with all of her family. She lived close to her children and enjoyed her grandchildren being so much a part in her life. The last few years had been a real joy. The great grandchildren have meant so much to her. She enjoyed doing things with the little ones. She loved Christmas when she would have all of her children come for a day of fun and gathering. Her favorite time of year was spring where she could plant a garden and raise tomatoes. She loved to can and would can close to 100 jars of tomatoes. The family would enjoy them, when she would put them in her soups and chili. She also loved to feed the outside birds. She liked sitting on her patio and just watching the birds.
She wants All of her Family to know that she will be waiting for them to rejoin her someday. Family was what her life was about! Either on earth or eternal, we belong together.
