George Loughman, 82, of Fortville, passed away Saturday, February 10, 2018 in Greenfield. He was born December 22, 1935 in Ridgway, PA to the late Leland and Florence (Pifier) Loughman. George was a U.S. Navy veteran having served during Korea. He was a member of the Fortville American Legion Post 391 and the Fortville Christian Church. George was a carpenter and owned G & G Construction and worked with other construction related businesses.
George is survived by children: Brian (Debbie) Loughman of Huntsville; Greg (Deanna) Loughman of Pendleton; Denae Alyneof Anderson; step-children: Steve Driscoll of Fortville, Penny (Lee) Niece of Anderson, Larry (Tammy) Driscoll of Anderson, Kevin Driscoll of Anderson and Kelly (Steve) Saad of New Jersey; 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; sister Carol (Richard) Hockman of DuBois, PA; best friends Virginia Graves and Butch Grimm. He was preceded in death by his wife Janet E. (Purtlebaugh) Loughman in 2004.

Funeral services will take place on Friday, February 16, 2018 at 7:00 pm at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville with Rev. Jesse Flood of Bright Point Church officiating.
