Grace H. (Virgin) Leonard

Grace H. Leonard, 95, of Fortville, passed away Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Rawlins House in Pendleton.  She was born November 11, 1922 in Oaklandon, IN to Dolpha and Faye (Davidson) Virgin.  Grace was a founding member of White River Christian Church, past Worthy Matron of the Fortville Order of the Eastern Star Chapter No. 149 and had retired from Ft. Benjamin Harrison Finance and Accounting Center.  She and her late husband Ralph enjoyed Work & Witness trips to Haiti with White River Christian Church.

Grace is survived by sons: Philip L. Leonard of Lake Worth, FL; Stephen E. (Jackie) Leonard of Greenfield and David W. (Jackie) Leonard of Fortville; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph in 2007, her parents and brother Ralph L. Virgin. 

Friends may call on Monday, May 14, 2018 from 4 to 8 pm at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville.  A celebration of Grace’s life will take place on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 11:00 am at the funeral home.  Burial will take place at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the White River Christian Church 1685 N. 10th Street, Noblesville, IN 46060
