Harold R. Point passed away Thursday, August 2, 2018 while in the loving care of The Legacy at Prairie Lakes, Noblesville, Indiana.
Harold was born on March 23, 1936 in Lima, OH, later moving to Spencerville Ohio. After graduating from Spencerville High School in 1954, he entered the United States Air Force during the Korean War,
After serving his country, he returned to Ohio to marry Denelda “Denna” Carder of Delphos, OH in 1960. He began work in insurance claims, and together they moved to Indiana where they continued to love each other and build their family. Harold enjoyed building and renovating homes, wood working, and singing.
Harold is survived by his (3) children: Jerry (Dorcas) Point, Kimla (James) Stinson, Katrina (Michael) Tyler, (7) grandchildren: Danielle (Patrick) McPeck, Amy (Jeremy) Walworth, Erin (Michael) Coning, Alea Tyler, Cory Point, Megan Stinson, and Andrew Stinson, as well as (8) great-grandchildren. He will also be missed by his surviving brother, Dale, and sisters, Jenis, Shirley, and Beverly.
Preceding him in death were Denna (2012), as well as his father John, mother Ada Rebecca (Taylor) Point, brother Clayton, and sisters Dorothy, Evelyn, and Mildred.
