Janet L. (Forth) Ferguson

Janet L. Ferguson, 80, of Greenfield, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Hancock Regional Hospital.  She was born June 30, 1938 in Indianapolis.  Janet attended Calvary Baptist Church in Greenfield and had been co-owner of Fashion Right Fabrics in McCordsville.  Janet enjoyed painting, sewing and loved being a homemaker, being married and being the best mother she could be.

Janet leaves behind husband Jerry L. Ferguson; who she married July 27, 1957; daughters Sandra K. (Scott) Skokal of Carmel and Crystal A. (Gregg) Gordon of Indianapolis; granddaughters Megan E. and Rachael M. Gordon; and grandson Aidan M.Skokal. She was preceded in death by her son Jeffrey A. Ferguson; father Claude A. Forth, mother Eulamay Forth-Van Dolsen; granddaughter: Sarah M. Gordon; brother: Claude A. “Bud” Forth and sister Judy Bogle

Friends may call on Sunday, May19, 2019 from 2 to 5 pm at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville, where the funeral to celebrate Janet’s life will be held at 5:00 pm following the visitation.  Private burial will take place Monday at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.  Memorial donations may be made in Janet’s name to Calvary Baptist Church, 1450 W.
