Nancy L. Bailey

Nancy L. “Gma” Bailey, 80, of Fishers, formerly of Fortville, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis.  She was born April 11,1937 in Indianapolis to Ramon and Constance (Leeb) LaRue.  Nancy graduated from the old McCordsville High School and attended Porter Business College.  She was a member of the Fortville United Methodist Church, Eden Order of the Eastern Star and Jobs Daughters. Nancy retired from AT & T as an administrative assistant in 1993 after 32 years’ service.  During her retirement she volunteered at Community Hospital North.

Nancy is survived by sons: Robert L. Bailey of Fishers and Phillip (Tami) Bailey of Cypress, TX; grandchildren: Jonathon (Ashley Hill) Bailey, Eric Bailey, Jake Bailey and Cooper Bailey; twin sister: Yvonne Frederick of Broken Arrow, OK; brother: Charles (Lori) LaRue of Fayetteville, GA.  She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Bailey in 1996; her parents and a brother Gene LaRue.

A memorial service to celebrate Nancy’s life will take place on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 7:00 pm at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville.  Friends and family may call on Thursday from 5:00 pm until the time of service. Private inurnment will take place at Gravel Lawn Cemetery at the family’s convenience.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Hamilton County 1721 Pleasant St, Noblesville, IN 46060.
