Neil C. Christensen, 89, of McCordsville, passed away Monday, December 18, 2017 in Indianapolis.  He was born February 11, 1928 in Indianapolis to the late Chris and Clara H. (Knipe) Christensen.  Neil was a graduate of Arsenal Technical High School, member of the Bricklayers Union, a devout Catholic and attended St. Thomas Catholic Church.  He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and a member of the American Legion. 

Neil is survived by sons: Mike (Connie) Christensen of Madison, WI, Mark (Kay) Christensen of Oaklandon, Jeff (Linda) Castor of Greenfield and Larry (Rita) Castor of Indianapolis; daughters: Christy (Mike) Prewitt of French Lick and Sheri (Thom) Kessler of Indianapolis; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister: Sharon Ford of Miamisburg, OH.  He was preceded in death by his wife Wilda in 2013; brother Wave Christensen and daughter Cora “Corki” Howard. 

A service to celebrate Neil’s life will take place on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville.  Friends may call on Thursday at the funeral home from 11:00 am until the time of service.  Burial will take place at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association 9135 N.
