Phyllis J. Kincade

Phyllis J. Kincade, 76, of Fortville, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2018 surrounded by her family.  She was born January 24, 1942 in Greenfield, IN to the late Randolph and Mary (Ross) Hoff.  Phyllis graduated from Fortville High School in 1967. She retired in 1994 as an office manager, having done so for several auto dealerships over the years. In her spare time, Phyllis loved gardening, painting ceramics, painting bird houses and playing Euchre, in which she was a member of her Euchre Club for over 50 years.

She is survived by her husband, David L. Kincade, whom she married on June 18, 1960 in Fortville; daughters, Carol (Jeff) Sweeney of Miami, FL, Karen Kincade of New Albany, Jean Kincade of Indianapolis, Tammy (Greg) Sabol of Knightstown, Debby (Doug) Griffey of Fortville; son, Richard “Rick” Kincade of Knightstown; and a sister, Pat (Ed) Prater of Noblesville.  Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Jim Hoff.
