Richard N. Beitman

Richard N. “Dick” Beitman, 76, of Fishers, passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Community Hospital North.  He was born April 10, 1942 in Ft. Wayne, IN.  Dick was a self-employed upholsterer.  He enjoyed golf and hunting, but his favorite hobby was fishing.  He was a member of the B.A.S.S. Federation and had won numerous tournaments at Geist Reservoir.

Dick is survived by wife Jeri (Hess) Beitman, whom he married August 26, 1977, daughter: Janell (Ted) Lenahan of Fishers; sons: Richard N. (Karen) Beitman, Jr. of Pendleton; Steven “Doc” Beitman of Fortville; grandchildren: Austin Miernyk and Alexandra Beitman.  He was preceded in death by his mother: Bertus (Johnson) Beitman, father: Delbert Leininger; step-father: Floyd “Bud” Beitman; brother: James Steven Leininger and granddaughter: Eliana Beitman.

A celebration of Dick’s life will be held on Friday, November 2, 2018 from 4 to 7 pm at the Britton Falls Chateau 13079 Del Webb Parkway Fishers, IN 46037.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Community North Cancer Center c/o Community Health Foundation 7240 N.
