Suellen M. McClellan, 65, of Greenfield, passed away Monday, December 10, 2018 in IU Saxony Hospital in Fishers. She was born March 18, 1953 in Brazil, Indiana to Frank J. and Mary E. Nevins.
Suellen was a graduate of Pendleton High School and retired from Brookside Corporation. She attended Aletheia Church in Anderson. She enjoyed crafts, flowers and riding on her son Greg’s Harley Davidson.
Suellen is survived by children: Greg (fiancé Teresa Hudson) Thompson of Fortville; daughter Candy of Indianapolis and Buddy McClellan of Greenfield; step-sons: Bobby (Audrey) McClellan, Mike (Tina) McClellan, Larry McClellan, former step-daughter Mary Fouch; grandchildren: Logan, Nathaniel Kirstan and Miranda Thompson, Noah and Avery McClellan, Grant (Breanna) Minkey; great-granddaughter: Harlow Minkey; 4 step-grandchildren and 5 step-great-grandchildren; companion Kenny Borders and several brothers and sisters. She was preceded in death by husband Robert E. McClellan, her parents, granddaughter Jody McClellan and daughter-in-law Amanda Byum.
A funeral to celebrate Suellen’s life will be held on Friday, December 14, 2018 at 12:00 pm at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. Friends may call on Friday from 10:00 am until the service begins. Burial will take place at Park Cemetery in Greenfield. In lieu of flowers the family asks for contributions be made to Seals Funeral Home to help assist with funeral expenses.
