Anna M. Literal

Anna M. Literal, 85, of Fortville, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2020 in Greenfield.  She was born July 13, 1934 in Oaklandon, Indiana to Carl A. and Nora L. (Baker) Moos. She graduated from McCordsville High School in 1952. She spent her career as Co-Owner of Literal Trucking & Asphalt Paving. She was known for and loved driving the asphalt roller. Anna enjoyed crafts, wintering in Florida, going to and watching races, and shopping, but more than any of this, she enjoyed spending time with her family, whom she loved dearly.

Anna is survived by children: Don (Sharon) Literal, Patty (Joe) Paxton and Randy (Martha) Literal all of Fortville; grandchildren: Michelle (Scott) Hasty, Joe (Chrissy) Paxton, Carla (Scott) Renforth, Wayne (Sarah) Literal and Briana Literal; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers: William “Bill” Moos of Clearwater, FL and Carl “Butch” Moos of Columbus, OH; sisters: Barbara L. (Jim) Silvey of Oaklandon and Judy M. (Jim) Tubbs of McCordsville, numerous nieces and nephews.  Anna was preceded in death by her husband Jerry D. Literal, her parents, brothers Harold and Phil

Friends may call on Sunday, June 21, 2020 from 2 to 6 pm at Seals Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fortville.  A celebration of Anna’s life will be held on Monday, June 22, 2020 at 10:30 am at the funeral home.  Burial with will follow at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Debbie Plank Scholarship Fund c/o Hancock County Community Foundation in memory of Anna Literal 312 E.
