Arlene Hilmer Obituary

Arlene E. Hilmer, 68, of Fortville, IN, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2022. She was born on December 21, 1953, in Detroit Lake, MN, to Donald and Esther (Tovson) Jasch.

Arlene worked as an accountant for DFAS. She was an avid painter and belonged to Country Painting. She adored her family and her grandchildren.

Arlene is survived by her husband of 52 years Ricky Hilmer. She is also survived by her children Shon (Kim) Hilmer of Fort Worth, Texas, and Tammy (Claude) Dodds or Fortville, IN; her grandchildren Michael, Karissa, Keely, Payton, and Tristan; great-grandchildren Leah, Evelyn, Alanna, Maverick, and Claire; and her brother Johnny Jasch. She is preceded in death by her parents; twin brother Arnold “Arnie” Jasch; brother Harvey Jasch; and sister Lois Plasschart.

Per Arlene’s request a cremation will take place. There are no public services at this time.
