Basil Heise

Basil Robert Heise, 69, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away on January 30, 2023. He was born on February 6, 1953 in Schenectady, New York to Frederick and Fances (Baker) Heise.

Basil served in the United States Air Force for 20 years and worked in Data Entry for Veterans Affairs. He was part of the AFGE. He also was a referee and assessor in the USSF at the state level and traveled to Nevada, Colorado, Minnesota, and Texas to referee in soccer tournaments. He was a basketball and football official as well.

Basil is survived by his daughter Kathaleen (Michael) Brewer; sons Albert Hetrick and James Smith; granddaughter Charisma Brewer; 6 other grandchildren; sister Michele Suiter; and 8 nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife Virginia Heise; his parents; and sister Cheryl.

A burial service with military rites for Basil will be held on Friday, February 10, 2023 at 12:00 pm at the Chapel at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville, Indiana.
