Betsey (Shaw) Anderson

Betsey Laurinda (Shaw) Anderson, 48, of Ingalls, passed away on May 14, 2025. She was born on September 9, 1976, in Greenfield to Scottie and Reatha (Rail) Shaw.

Betsey worked as a medical assistant and in the IT Department for Hancock Health. She loved cooking, gardening, tending to her flowerbed, camping, boating, and reading. She adored her dog Hank.

Betsey is survived by her husband Dale L. Anderson, whom she married on July 11, 1998. She is also survived by her mother Reatha Shaw; brother Neil (Marca) Shaw; nieces and nephews Darby (Kody) Smith, Ella Shaw, and Garrett Shaw; step-sister Chrissy Heller; nieces and nephews Derick Heller, David Heller and Courtney (Preston) Lutz; great-nephew Dawson Lutz; mother-in-law Deborah Anderson; father-in-law Richard Anderson; and brother-in-law Jerry (Gina) Anderson. She is preceded in death by her father Scottie Shaw.

A funeral service for Betsey will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at 3:00 pm, at Seals Funeral Home, 122 W. Staat St., Fortville, IN 46040.
