Betty J. Goff, 87, of Fortville, passed away February 3, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born April 4, 1935, in Madison County, Indiana to Ralph and Thelma (Martin) Kincade.

Betty was a homemaker. Betty enjoyed sewing, going to garage sales, and following the racing club that her husband, sons and grandsons' race with. She was known for feeding whoever happened to show up at mealtime. Mostly she enjoyed spending time with family. 

Betty is survived by children: Melinda (Don) Anderson, Terry (Carol) Goff, Cindy (Ty) Thompson, Carey “Oogie” (Tina Bland) Goff, and Lora (Mark) Widener, 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren and 2 step-great-grandchildren; brothers Dennis Kincade, David Kincade and Dale Kincade as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Betty was preceded in passing by her husband Johnny R. Goff in 2006, step-son John M. Goff; siblings: Charles Kincade, Byron “Bud” Kincade, Donald “Don” Kincade, Bradley Kincade, Barbara Hensley, and Delores “Dolly” Wilson.

Friends may call on Thursday, February 9, 2023, from 4 to 8 pm at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville.  A funeral to celebrate Betty’s life will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, February 10, 2023, at the funeral home.
