Beverly A. Ray, 84, of Noblesville, passed away on January 22, 2023. She was born on April 14, 1938, in Spencer, IN to Arthur and Lola (Bault) Johnson. Beverly was a graduate of Spencer High School.

Beverly retired in customer service from Sears after 29 years. She also worked for 10 years as a florist and in the 80’s, she operated Cakes by Bev, baking and decorating cakes for all occasions. She was a member of Fortville Church of the Nazarene and Fort Meyers Church of the Nazarene where she was also a member of the Fort Meyers Inspiration Club.

Beverly is survived by her husband Horace “Wayne” Ray, whom she married October 22, 1970. She is also survived by her children Debra (Michael) Waterbury, Lori (Tim) Bostic, and Julie (Edward) Goodman; grandchildren Jeremy (Andrea) Waterbury, Brandon Waterbury, Aaron Stephenson, and Elizabeth Wise; and great-grandchildren Norah, Clara, Magnolia, and Victoria. She is preceded in death by her parents; stepdaughter Tammie Ray; grandson Eddie Goodman; brother Arthur Johnson; and mother-in-law Nellie Denning.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 30, 2023, at 12:00 pm at Fortville Church of the Nazarene, 701 S. Maple Street, Fortville, IN 46040. Friends may call at the church from 11:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Gravel Lawn Cemetery.
