Carlton "Dallas" Humerickhouse

Carlton “Dallas” Humerickhouse, 84, of Fortville, passed away on January 12, 2023. He was born July 22, 1938, in Columbia City, IN, to Russell and Ethel (Trueblood) Humerickhouse. He graduated in 1956 from Fortville High School.

Dallas was an Engineer, working for Carrier Corporation for 36 years. He attended Cyntheanne Christian Church and a former member of the Fortville Lions Club. He enjoyed yardwork and traveling, and he treasured time with his beloved grandchildren.

Dallas is survived by his wife Virginia “Jenny” (Brewer) Humerickhouse; son Scott (Jenny) Humerickhouse; grandchildren Katie (Aaron) Bryan, Joshua Humerickhouse, Matthew (Ashley) Humerickhouse, and Lauren Humerickhouse; and brothers Jerry (Rena) Humerickhouse, Doug (Jan) Humerickhouse, and Lee (Karen) Humerickhouse. He is preceded in death by his parents and son Steven Humerickhouse.

A funeral service for Dallas will be held on Monday, January 16, 2023 at 1:30 pm at Cyntheanne Christian Church. Friends may call on Monday at the church from 11:30 am until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Gravel Lawn Cemetery. Please share online condolences at sealsfuneralhome.com
