Carmen J. Stapleton

Carmen J. Stapleton, 85, of Indianapolis, passed away Sunday, August 27, 2023, at his home surrounded by family. He was born June 3, 1938, in Winslow, Indiana to Harold and Eloise (Redman) Stapleton. Carmen was a math teacher for several decades at Lawrence Central High School. He was also the golf coach at the high school as well as an over 40-year member of the Indian Lake County Club. 

Carmen is survived by his wife of over 65 years Willa Mae (Luttrell) Stapleton, daughter Shannon (John) Fisher, sons: Tony (Shannon) Stapleton and Tod (Teia) Stapleton, 4 grandchildren and 4 step-grandchildren as well as sister Myra Christman. He was preceded in passing by his parents and sister Connie Martin.
