Carmen Marie “Candy” Caudell, 62, of Fortville, passed away May 13, 2021 at Greenfield Healthcare.  She was born February 4, 1959 in Anderson, Indiana to the late Billie D. & Mary Lois (Snider) Caudell 

Candy was a member of Grandview Church of the Brethren. She worked for Shares Inc. retiring after 35 years of service. At the age of 50, Candy moved out on her own, which was a monumental moment, to the Bethesda Lutheran Group Homes. She enjoyed crafts, country music, westerns, going on trips and just being on the go.  But more than any of this, she loved spending time with her family whom she loved dearly.

She is survived by sisters Sharon L. (Carroll) Bush of Trafalgar; Marcia R. Caudell of Indianapolis; Deanna J. Laxton of Mocksville, NC; brothers Franklin D. (Kimberlie) Caudell of Fortville, Jerome “Jay” D. Caudell of Fortville as well as several niece, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents listed above.

Friends may call from 11:00 am ~ 1:00 pm on Friday, May 21, 2021 at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville.  A Celebration of Candy’s Life will begin at 1:00 pm on Friday May 21, 2021 with Jesse Flood from Bright Point Ministries officiating.  Burial will follow at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
