Carol “Sue” Norris, 90, of McCordsville, IN, passed away on June 5, 2024. She was born on November 24, 1933, in Sullivan, MO, to Stanley and Ida (Gruber) Hall.

Sue received a bachelor’s degree in education from Central Methodist University in Fayette, MO, and was a devoted wife and mother. She currently attended McCordsville United Methodist Church.

Sue is survived by her daughters JoEllen Norris, and Beth (Dennis) Morton; her grandchildren David Busch, Cody (Lauren) Morton, and Jesse (Lily) Morton; and one great-grandson Gavin Morton. She is preceded in death by her husband Richard Norris, whom she married on July 22, 1956, in Union, MO. She is also preceded in death by her siblings Willie Hall and Joanne Curran.

A Funeral Service for Sue will take place on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at 3:00 pm at Seals Funeral Home, 122 W. Staat Street, Fortville, IN 46040. Friends may call at the funeral home on the day of the service beginning at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at a later date at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest beside her husband. Memorial contributions in Sue’s honor may be made to the McCordsville United Methodist Church Food Pantry.
