Carolyn May Rapp, 90, of Pendleton, passed away on December 18, 2024, in Anderson. She was born on February 15, 1934, in Lapel to Mark and Ruth (Garrett) Whetsel.

Carolyn worked as an office controller for A&P. She enjoyed bowling and participated in a league. She loved the outdoors and doing woodworking projects. Most of all she was a beloved mom and grandma.

Carolyn is survived by her husband Philip Rapp, who she married on October 28, 1954. She is also survived by her daughter Carol Lee (Brad) Jarrett; grandson Jake (Kiley Beamer) Jarrett; and sisters Martha Wallace and Joan Ballard. She is preceded in death by her parents Mark and Ruth Whetsel; brothers Neil, Kenny, and Richard “Moe” Whetsel; and sister Jean Legault.

Private Graveside services for Carolyn will be held on Monday, December 23, 2024, where she will be laid to rest at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville. Please consider signing her online guestbook at sealsfuneralhome.com.
