Obituary
Charles A. Allen, 52, of Greenfield, passed away on September 10, 2023, in Indianapolis. He was born on February 6, 1971 in Muncie, Indiana to Gerry and Margaret (Jones) Allen.
Chuck was a graduate of Jay County High School and received a Bachelor’s degree from Ball State University. He worked as the Associate Director of Unified Communications for Ball State University since March of 1999. He recently received the Exemplary Service Award from Ball State for his outstanding contribution to Information Technology. Chuck and Lisa most recently attended Mercy Road Northeast Church.
Chuck is survived by his wife Lisa L. (Bogemann) Allen whom he married on May 26, 2016. He is also survived by his children Brittany Allen and Brandon Allen; stepchildren Joseph (Ali) Alexander, Sarah Alexander, and Dylan (Ashley) Routier; 6 grandchildren; and his mother Margaret Allen. He is preceded in death by his father Gerry Allen.
Friends may call on Friday, September 15, 2023, at Mercy Road Church Northeast, 611 Vitality Drive, Fortville, IN 46040, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm.
