Christian "Chris" Gahagen

We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our beloved son, Christian. Known for his quick wit and unforgettable humor, he could make anyone laugh-- even on their hardest days. But behind every joke was a man with extraordinary compassion. He gave freely, loved deeply, and showed up for people in ways that changed lives. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, generosity, and joy. Our hearts are shattered, but we are endlessly proud of the person he was.

Christian is survived by his parents, Ed and Sherri Gahagen; his brother, Erich Gahagen; and his sister, Brenna Gahagen.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Christopher Wright.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at the Fortville Church of the Nazarene, 701 S. Maple Street, Fortville, with Pastor Phil Edwards officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 A.M.
