Cynthia A. (Jones) Atwell

Cynthia A. Atwell, 69, of Wilkinson, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 6, 2022, at her home.  She was born August 7, 1952, to William and Elizabeth “Bid” (Clay) Jones.  Cindy was a graduate of Mt. Vernon High School and attended Ball State University.  She worked with special education children in Greenfield-Central School District and was the former owner of N-Complete Tractor Parts in Wilkinson.  In her free time Cindy enjoyed working with flowers, artwork, reading and most importantly spoiling her beloved Davedog, a 13-year-old toy fox terrier. 

Cindy is survived by her husband Ralph “Butch” Atwell, Jr., whom she married June 26, 2015, son Jesse Battaglia of Wilkinson, cousins Dave (Maggie) Jordan and Jamie (Kim) Jordan. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A funeral to celebrate Cindy’s life will be held on Friday, August 12, 2022, at 1:00 pm at Seals Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 am until the time of service. Burial will follow at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society 5635 W. 96th Street Suite 100 Indianapolis, IN 46278.
